I'm an amateur photographer from the Midlands in England. I shoot mostly landscapes - I love exploring new places, capturing the variety and beauty of the scenery and watching how the changing light can transform a view. I'm also a big fan of music, so I also occasionally upload photos from gigs.
Apart from playing around with disposable cameras when I was growing up, I didn't take up photography seriously until getting my first digital camera in 2003. Since then I've gradually become more and more interested and now I'm rarely separated from my camera.
I'm self taught, but have learned a lot from online art communities, such as deviantART, through the inspiration of other photographers work, and from the feedback on my own photography.
